Kilowatt is an all-in-one mobile companion for electric vehicle drivers, built around a simple promise: Discover. Plan. Charge. Connect. From finding the nearest charging station to planning long-distance trips and tracking every session, Kilowatt brings the entire EV experience into a single, intuitive app — designed for the next generation of mobility.

Branding & Visual Identity We developed Kilowatt's complete visual identity from the ground up — including logo, app icon, color palette, typography, and full brand guidelines with native support for both light and dark modes. The aesthetic is modern, clean, and tech-forward: an identity built to feel at home alongside the vehicles it powers, with every asset optimized for App Store and Google Play presentation.
Discover — Stations at Your Fingertips A full-screen map surfaces nearby charging stations with provider logos, real-time socket availability, and smart marker clustering for zoomed-out views. Drivers can filter by socket type (AC, DC, HPC), provider, or favorites — and tap any station for a two-step bottom sheet experience that delivers a quick summary first, then full details including socket breakdown, pricing, working hours, reviews, and quick actions like navigate, call, share, or add photo.
Plan — Smart Route Planning The route planner turns long EV journeys into a solved problem. Drivers input start, destination, and optional stops, then fine-tune with route preferences — starting and target battery levels, average speed, energy consumption, passenger count, climate control, tire type, and road preferences (tolls, highways, ferries). The system calculates the optimal route with charging stops based on real vehicle data, presents a full preview with total duration and estimated charging cost, and lets users save routes for future trips.
Charge — Seamless Session Management Drivers start charging with a simple QR scan or manual code entry, with provider selection and clear permission and error states throughout. A lightweight summary screen confirms session details before the charge begins, and live tracking shows charging status, energy delivered, and running cost in real time.
Connect — Your Vehicle, Always in Sync For supported brands and models, Kilowatt connects directly to the vehicle for live data: battery level, energy consumption, remaining mileage, and trip insights. The dashboard brings everything together — a swipeable vehicle selector, vehicle info and stats cards, recent charging sessions, recent trips, and reusable bar/line analytics graphs.
Sessions, Trips & Tariffs Every charging session is logged with full detail: location with map view, duration, battery delta, total energy, peak/average power, and time-series graphs of power and battery over the session — plus a generated share card for social sharing. Trips are tracked with route polylines, distance, battery change, and altitude analysis. The tariff section gives drivers clear, sortable provider pricing — grouped by provider with socket-level breakdowns of type, power range, and per-kWh cost.
Settings, Profile & Campaigns Users manage account details, invoice addresses, vehicle list, and connected vehicles through a clean settings hierarchy. A campaigns section surfaces promotional offers from charging providers, with detailed campaign pages and validity windows — turning the app into both a utility and a discovery channel.
Design System & Developer Handoff The entire app was designed with reusable components, auto-layout, and a structured design system — delivered as developer-ready Figma files with proper naming, spacing, and styles. Marketing collateral, social media templates, and store-ready visuals were produced in the same visual language, ensuring brand consistency from the app icon to the launch campaign.
The result is a polished, production-ready EV companion that turns the daily complexity of electric driving into a connected, confident experience.
